Montréal, le 16 mai 2012 – Scéno Plus, la firme de design montréalaise spécialisée dans la conception de salles de spectacles, vient de connaître un autre succès avec l’inauguration du nouveau projet REVEL situé à Atlantic City aux États-Unis. À titre de designer principal, Scéno Plus y a dirigé, depuis 2007, la conception de plusieurs espaces dédiés au divertissement.

Montreal, May 16, 2012 – Scéno Plus, a Montreal-based firm specialized in the design of entertainment venues has just realized another successful project with the opening of Revel, a new lifestyle resort located in Atlantic City, USA. As the Lead Designer for the entertainment infrastructures, Scéno Plus has directed the creation of multiple spaces within the resort since 2007.

+ Ce vaste complexe hôtelier de 2,4 milliards inauguré en avril 2012 a été un projet majeur pour l’équipe de Montréal. La firme a notamment conçu Revelry, un casino à caractère théâtral qui se démarque de l’univers classique des casinos, une salle de spectacle transformable de 5 500 places à la fine pointe de la technologie, un bar-théâtre de 700 places, deux bars et une dizaine d’espaces d’accueil et de rencontre. Au total, c’est plus de 46 450 m2 qui portent désormais la signature de Scéno Plus.
Afin de mener à bien le projet et de créer des environnements vibrants et chaleureux, Scéno Plus a travaillé en étroite collaboration avec Kevin DeSanctis, président du groupe Revel Entertainment, ainsi que toute l’équipe de Revel à réaliser ce qui constitue maintenant une attraction majeure à Atlantic City.
« C’est un des projets les plus stimulants et créatifs que notre équipe de Montréal a relevé avec brio, démontrant du même coup la qualité des professionnels que nous avons » a déclaré Patrick Bergé, président de Scéno Plus.
Non seulement le projet a permis de mettre en valeur les talents de Montréal et du Québec à l’étranger, mais il a démontré nos capacités artistiques et créatives en aménagement et en design dans de nouveaux secteurs d’activités. « Notre objectif était de créer des espaces uniques et exceptionnels en y intégrant des composantes issues de l’univers du spectacle comme, par exemple, des éléments de design suspendus, un éclairage dosé et un environnement sonore adapté à chaque moment de la journée » a tenu à préciser Valérie Pageau, directrice artistique.
Bien que le complexe Revel soit ouvert au public dès maintenant, les événements entourant le lancement officiel de cette nouvelle destination culmineront le 25 mai prochain avec le retour sur scène fort attendu de la populaire chanteuse Beyoncé.

+ This 2.4 billon US$ resort inaugurated on April 2nd has been a very important project for the Montreal team. The firm designed the unique Revelry gaming floor, a 5,500 capacity transformable theatre, a 700-seat show bar, two trendy bars and dozens of circulation areas. In total, there is more than 500,000 square feet that bears the signature of Scéno Plus.
In order to complete the project according to the client’s vision and create vibrant environments, Scéno Plus has worked closely with Kevin DeSanctis, CEO of the Revel Entertainment Group, to achieve what is now a major attraction in Atlantic City.
“This is one of the most exciting and creative projects that we achieved together as a team, demonstrating at the same time the quality of the professionals we work with” says Patrick Bergé, President of Scéno Plus.
Not only does the project showcase the multiple talents of Montreal and Quebec abroad but it also shows the ability of Sceno Plus to design other kinds of spaces and environments in a major resort. “Our main objective was to create unique and outstanding spaces by integrating elements from the world of entertainment such as suspended design element, theatrical lighting and a very programmable sound environment that can be adapted as the day goes on.” added Valérie Pageau, Artistic Director at Scéno Plus.
Although the Revel resort is now open to the public, the events surrounding the official launch of this new destination will culminate on May 25th with the eagerly awaited return to the stage of the popular singer Beyoncé.
